  1. Sigiriya Rock Fortress:

  2. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa):

    • Significance: Houses the tooth relic of Lord Buddha. It’s one of the most important religious sites in Sri Lanka.


  3. Yala National Park:

    • Significance: Known for its wildlife and especially for being home to the highest concentration of leopards in the world.


  4. Adam’s Peak (Sri Pada):

    • Significance: A pilgrimage site for multiple religions, it’s famous for its summit, which has a mysterious footprint, believed to belong to Buddha, Shiva, or Adam depending on the belief.

    • Significance: A complex of caves with ancient Buddhist murals and statues, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
